Goals
» Identificar, describir y poner en valor el patrimonio natural y cultural de la comuna de Cochamó con el fin de ponerlo a disposición de la comunidad local, a través de esta plataforma digital que contiene cinco mapas interactivos y una biblioteca digital en crecimiento.

» Compilación de material bibliográfico.
» Reuniones con autoridades comunales y regionales relacionadas en el área de educación y programas culturales.
» Recopilación de testimonios a través de instancias participativas en las siguientes localidades: Pocoihuen, Cochamó, La Junta, Puelo, Segundo Corral.
» Reconocimiento del territorio de forma presencial.
» Identificación de 56 hitos patrimoniales.

1. Support families and elderly residents in preparing supplies that will sustain them through the winter in the mountains.
2. Provide an opportunity for learning and exchanging experiences that highlights the cultural richness of rural life.
3. Foster cooperative bonds between nature enthusiasts and local communities.

Participatory monitoring of wildlife

Participatory monitoring of wildlife

Goals
1. Train local community members in the installation of camera traps and identification of tracks, to create local capacities in wildlife monitoring.
2. Obtain evidence on the presence of species in the Cochamó Valley to advance programs aimed at their conservation.
3. Strengthen alliances between local organizations.

Progress
» Partnership with the Andean Club and the Valle Cochamó Organization to monitor species in the Cochamó Valley.
» Installation of 25 camera traps in the Cochamó Valley.
» Discovery of Patagonian Vizcacha, Guiña, Monito del Monte, and 28 other species.
» Report and presentation event of the monitoring results in the Cochamó Valley.
