Conservation initiative invites residents of the Cochamó commune to collaboratively design of Puchegüín´s future 

Through Participatory Working Groups held from April 21 to 25 in the main towns of the Cochamó commune, the second phase of developing the Pucheguín estate Conservation Strategy will begin.

Through workshops, interviews, field visits, and an open consultation process, The Nature Conservancy and Puelo Patagonia are conducting a participatory process to develop the Conservation Strategy for the Puchegüín estate—a private 133,000-hectare property that has been for sale since 2022 and which, through the initiative Conserva Puchegüín, five organizations are aiming to acquire and conserve.

    • Valle El Frío: Lunes 21 de abril a las 12pm, en Sede Social JJVV Nº5 de Valle El Frío. 

    • Río Puelo: Martes 22 de abril a las 6pm, en Salón Municipal de Río Puelo.

    • Llanada Grande: Miércoles 23 de abril a las 12pm, en Sede Social JJVV Nº4 de Llanada Grande.

    • Cochamó: Jueves 24 de abril a las 6pm, en Sede Social JJVV Nº6 de Cochamó. 

    • Pucheguín: Viernes 25 de abril a las 4pm, en la Sede Social JJVV Nº 12 de Pucheguín.
