We work to establish and maintain the Tourism Interest Zone (ZOIT) of Río Puelo, Cochamó, and Hualaihué — a Chilean policy tool that prioritizes and promotes tourism as a key activity in the territory.

La Ley del Turismo define las Zonas de Interés Turístico a los territorios que tengan condiciones especiales para la atracción turística y que requieran medidas de conservación y una planificación integrada.
We aim to continue strengthening the Tourism Interest Zone in the district, positioning the territory as one of Chile’s priority destinations for tourism. This involves coordinating public and private stakeholders to implement joint, agreed-upon actions that promote sustainable tourism development within a defined area.
This designation not only serves as a planning tool, but also prioritizes the implementation of public programs and tourism development projects, including the allocation of resources for necessary infrastructure and facilities.
