» Expansion of Wildlife Monitoring: Monitoring efforts were strengthened in new areas of the mountain range, increasing the coverage and continuity of biodiversity data collection.
» Generation of Information for Conservation: The records obtained provided relevant background information to support future conservation and land-management decisions.
» Work with Local Communities: Progress and results were shared with residents of the mountain range, strengthening the connection between monitoring efforts and local knowledge.
Next Steps
Advance in wildlife monitoring by expanding the camera-trap network to new habitats and underrepresented areas, while strengthening the participation of local communities and volunteers in its implementation. At the same time, analysis of the information collected will be deepened to better understand the presence, distribution, and dynamics of the species, so that these results can provide concrete evidence for defining conservation priorities and designing long-term management strategies and measures.
